Esther Dyson, SP67, is an active angel investor in a variety of start-ups, for-profit and otherwise, around the world, including such companies as Flickr (now part of Yahoo!) and Powerset and Medstory (now part of Microsoft's Bing). Her current investments/board seats include 23andMe (consumer genetics), Airship Ventures (a Zeppelin), Evernote, Meetup Inc. Voxiva (text4baby.org) and WPP Group. Her education did not end at Telluride: From October 2008 to March 2009, she trained as a cosmonaut in Star City, Russia.
