The application to Telluride House is designed to be challenging but not intimidating. It consists of several essays and an interview. (Telephone interviews are possible.)





How to Apply
 
Although the essays require at least as much thought and effort as many university admission applications, they do allow candidates to show what they have to offer in their own terms.  The House has accepted members as much for their artistic portfolios as for their essays and interviews.

Applicants must enroll as full-time Cornell students while in the House.  We prefer applicants who plan to live in the House for more than one year.  We encourage you to contact our Preferment Committee (cbta.apply@tellurideassociation.org) about House events you would like to attend.

Applications are considered in the autumn for joining the House the following fall, and deferment is possible for those whose plans change.
